Hi there, I am looking for some decorating gloves. I went to wilton.com and saw the all-purpose decorating gloves but they no longer sell them. Is that because no one uses them or? I think they would be handy to use for rolling and handling fondant (coloring fondant). Also to keep you from having to wash your hands all the time and also for health reasons.

Anyways, I am looking for some. Anyone know where to get them? I am looking for the nice fitting ones, not the baggy ones that you use at a restaurant and everything that are like 2 times too big!

Also, has anyone ever used the support gloves? They look like carpal tunnel wrist supports. Why is this? Are these for people who have arthritis and/or carpal tunnel? I feel like I am starting to get carpal tunnel in my left wrist. I think it is from holding my 25 pound 1 yr old daughter all the time. It gets old on the arm/wrist after a while. Just wondering what the general opinion was on these.

At Wal-Mart, Walgreens, and any other drugstore, you can buy Nitryl gloves, which are form-fitting and work wonderfully. Do not use latex gloves when handling food.

I use the Playtex Nitrile gloves which are latex free and powder free. I buy them in the pharmacy section of my grocery store.

You could try any beauty supply store (like Sally), Costco, or BJs. They have all have both the nitrile and the vinyl gloves.

Just out of curiousity, why can't you use latex gloves - is it for allergy reasons?
