Well, I think there had to been a timer set on the maintenance banner or someone removed it prematurely.

Multiple uploads of threads, posts....
Not only that, members are uploading multiple pictures of the same cake(this is intentional...like one of a straight on angle, one from the bottom up, one from the top down...they're starting to look like MySpace pictures...the only thing missing is the artist taking a picture of themselves with the cake...)
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, I thought we weren't allowed to upload pictures of cakes/desserts that didn't include some sort of decorating technique. This may have changed but I do know that when the 'round 'em up and delete 'em' crew was going through everyone's photos to clean up the galleries, those along with multiple shots of the same cake were deleted.
Maybe, the upload more images of this cake feature ain't working and that's why there's multiple images of the same cake going across the front page.
And of course, the bosses are away on their honeymoon (I hope), so the mice running around the program are going to play. Patience is a virtue, and I hope a lightning bolt of it hits us soon.

hehe. The changes to this site have really made it frustrating to use for the past several weeks. I don't like to complain because CC is such an amazing place and I love, love, love all the wonderful people here and who run it, but I really, really, really, really miss the old set up. This new layout is slow, frustrating, and not nearly as inspiring as it used to be. In fact, I rarely look at pics anymore. Can't stand the flash player. I don't think I'll bother to upload another photo here again. I haven't for a long time. I just miss the old version, and you're right OP, it's funky around here with all the various glitches and problems.

Gosh, this is sooooooo frustrating. This is IN SANE!!!! I'm getting to the point that I don't like coming to the website and doing ANYTHING. Including reading posts cause there are SO MANY repeats

Well, all I can say is, if the site is so annoying and so many things are frustrating you...you don't have to come here.
I'm sure it will all be taken care of as soon as possible. Patience is indeed a virtue, and some sure don't have much of it.
On the flip side, the squeaky wheel gets the grease--if nobody ever says something about it, how is anybody going to know it's a problem?

It is a shame that we can not vent and voice our frustations without being told "not to come here" if we are annoyed or frustrated with something on the site. The site has become what it is because of us - if no one visited or contributed it would not exist. And this has been going on for a considerable amount of time.......
