I am looking for an icing/frosting receipe that is not as sweet as the regular buttercream. Any ideas??

Try a Swiss Meringue Buttercream or an Italian Meringue (SMBC or IMBC) or try Indydebi's BC, she uses dream whip powder so it stabilizes with a little less sugar, and be sure you put a little salt in your BC as that will cut the sweetness
