and I just copied and pasted and it worked first try.
It is finicky.
you must only grab the letters and NO spaces before or after.
I just tried every link in this thread by couldn't open any of them. What am I don't wrong?
so....let's see if this works.....
go to this link: https://drop.io/cc_contract/login
Password: cruffles
(case sensitive )
(hint -- copy from here and paste there)
that should let you in and then you can download both the contract and wavier as Word files.
(if these drops work -- it could just be an answer to sharing Word files on here)
Doug, I can't access this document at all and cruffles is an expired password, according to your link. Can you help?
i just tried it again 4x in Firefox and one time in IE and it worked perfectly for me each time.
no error message of any sort.
no expired.
nada, zip!
so, I really don't know what is going wrong.

cruffles
maybe try typing it in instead of copy and paste (could be a hidden character glitch with copy/paste)
I just tried also and was able to download it. (today).Thank you doug for all your time and effort, you are amazing.
I can login just fine, but I can't figure out how to download the files. I can click on the file name, and the file opens, but the download button doesn't work, only print and full screen.

let me guess -- Win7-64 bit and FireFox? yep, can't get it either.
However, in IE -- it won't display the preview (Adobe Flash isn't 64 bit compatible yet!) but the download button DOES work!
(ah the fun of conflicting systems and upgrades (or lack there of in the case of Adobe Flash)

Doug, I have Windows XP, and I tried in both Chrome and IE. I could preview with both, but the download was not an option. I had to click on "More" to the right, choose "Go to file", download was still not available above the document, but off to the right there is a download link that worked.

curious. I have no idea then what happened. It could be a fault on their side, a java bug, a ..... ; who knows!
Glad you were able to get it.
the download button that works is displayed at the bottom of the form once the file name is clicked on and it allows you to view it. at the top, the download option isn't clickable but if you scroll to the bottom of the contract (page 1) download is in red.
Thanks for sharing Doug!
Hi,
A little late to this post..ha ha...but, when I tried to download the contract in Word, the drop may have expired..any way you can "re-open" the post?
Thanks!
Doug,
I would love a copy of this in Word, but when I clicked on your link, I got this message:
"The drop.io service has been discontinued. Please see our blog post for details."
Is there another way to get a copy?
Thanks so much!
Michelle
Can someone share the contract, I can not view it. Thanks...
if you have Microsoft Word...
go to this link: https://drop.io/cc_contract/login
use the password: Jackie-n-Heath09 (hint: copy and paste)
and then download it so you can edit it on your own.
(the "sample" watermark is hidden inside the header/footer. Open the header/footer and delete it from there)
I too am not able to view it... I have clicked each posting you have listed for us. It takes you to a redirecting link and nothing from that point forward.

the original post form doug was in 2009, i'm guessing something just needs to be set up again for access. However Doug hasn't been on in awhile (he is a teacher and it is his busy time)
I was able to open the attachment in the first post, but unable to remove the sample from it with the pdf reader i have.
I was able to open both the contract and the delivery waver. I'm running Windows XP and Firefox. No problems. I've saved both to my desk top for future reference.
It took a few seconds to down load.
I wonder if you go to your 'downloads', if you can open if from there?
I can open my downloads for 'My Computer'.
Just wanted to add that I use this contract with a few personalized additions, etc and have been doing so for a year. Everyone who sees it loves that it is so clear, and just last week one of my grooms who works for a contractor said that it looked like one he uses, but "mine" was better. Thanks Doug!
Holy moly this is awesome - and I'd love to get the word version, reformatting it from .pdf would take a really long time - if anyone has this in word that they are willing to share, please PM me!
I have a contract, bu it's no where near as great as this!
Thanks!
Jen
