have to make a well endowed "boob" torso cake this week.... don't have the wilton "ball pan"... so,
any sugesstions on which pans to use for baking the boobs? It is a freebie, so I am not interested in buying the ball pan if I can avoid it.
Have the sheet pan for making the torso.. can I carve the "boobs" out of a couple of 6" cakes? HELP!
Thanks!

Mini doll skirt (aka: wonder mold).
I would think you could carve them if you wanted to go to that much trouble.
OR use the trimming of the torso cake to form balls. Add b'crfeaqm and mash it together as one would make 'cake balls'. thumbs_up.gif

there are a couple of ways to make them, if you have two bowls the same size use those, or carve them out of 6" cakes like you say, or use a heart pan with a deep cake and carve it to round the boobs off. Have you looked in the adult section? Lots of inspiration and advice there.

Do you have metal mixing bowls? You can bake in them too

I bake in my glass bowls too. That's what I've done when I was making a boob cake. I only have one of each size of bowl, so I only bake one at a time (I guess I could go for a more natural look, and use a bigger bowl for one of the boobs icon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif )

I used the wonder mold pan, added a mini marshmallow to the top.. frosted it in peach and a light rose .. they loved it...

I saw this idea on another website. I am not sure who's it was, but they put a mini bottle of liquor in the center of the "boob" and it made it so the top of the mini bottle was the nipple then they covered it with icing.

In a pinch I have used the hostess snowballs for the boob form. They work great and are a different treat when the customer cuts them. I have also made a large recipe of cake balls and formed them, it shapes nicely and again a surprise inside.
