Okay i make cakes all the time and give them as gifts for family and friends i charge but no matter what i feel bad like i am over charging the most i have charges was $35 for my nightmare before Christmas cake! I don't even know how to brake it down as to how much to charge i know there are many other post on it but i still never laid it out i am blond and need help with that! I only use butter cream and i don't how to charge more if they want fillings!!! I am lost and need so so so so so so so MUCH help

Also i want my own work space i have a kitchen from the 50's and its really really small i was thinking about using my churches but i want to get it certified how do i go about doing that???? I know that it is not as up to date as i would like but hell ill take a 1980's kitchen over and 1950's kitchen(yes its kute but not functional)

Unfortunately, you live in one of the states that does not allow home kitchens to be certified for a cake business. You will need to find an inspected kitchen available to use or rent. Some churches are not approved by the health department.
