I'm trying to make a shoe either out of fondant or gumpaste or should I use a mixture of the two? And how do I make it and let it dry without it collapsing on me. I tried forming a foundation out of foil and the laying the base of the shoe on it (in gumpaste). But it looks like it's cracking and not drying well.

I should probably specify it's a high heeled shoe....
