Just wanted to thank all of you who helped with the Schools' Out for Summer idea. I just posted the picture, actually 2, I uploaded the wrong one first icon_redface.gif . I had a million thing to do today, but came together pretty well. My daughter and her friends loved it!

That came out great! I love the way you did the waves. Where did you end up finding your rocks?

I got the chocolate rocks from the candy store in the mall......I've hid the rest of them so I'll have them next time.....otherwise my DD would eat them all! icon_lol.gif

Cindy the cake turned out great! How did you do the waves? You know I have that fish bowl cake to do for my nephew. That is so cool! Do you know how to do bubbles?

If anyone knows how to do bubbles would you please share the technique w/ us? Thanks~

Hi Tina! You can make bubbles using piping gel. You can pipe out big or little dots using a round tip. If you want them to have a white outline, do that first and then fill in with piping gel.

Hey TC, all you have to do for the waves is just sort of flip them up with the blue color and then go over the tops of the waves with a small round tip...I think I used tip 4 or 5. This really was the easiest cake I evee decorated and it's because I didn't have to spend all that time making sure it was smooth! icon_lol.gif

I just read how to make waves with my ICES newsletter that I just got. The person used the brush embroidery technique, it looked really neat.
