I'm decorating my cookies with rbc for the first time, they are extremely greasy. But I'm able to transfer them to the cookie and they look ok, just very greasy. I plan on using Antonia74's icing for details, will the details break down from the grease? Any suggestions?

It might help to knead in some more powdered sugar. Sift some over the dough and on the work surface. Once you apply the RBC, let it set a while before you try to decorate.

I let mine sit overnight and the grease evaporates. it will not break down the RI- I do it on all my cookies.

Thanks ladies, I did knead some more sugar in, I will give it a couple of hours before decorating with royal. Then it'll sit overnight! icon_biggrin.gif
