Okay, It seems like I've read on here that there is a recipe for pan grease with flour and oil and maybe something else, but I just can't find it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about or was I just imagining it?? I'm crazy like that and I spend some late nights on here, so it's possible that I dreamed this up. Thanks!!

There is one in the recipe section. However I just mix equal parts of oil, crisco, and flour. I can make as little as 1/8 cup of each or up to 5 cups of it, as long as you use equal parts you're fine. Depending on how many cakes I have or plan on doing depends on how much I mix up. I started with a 1/4 c of each and am now at about 2 cups each and it last me 3-4 months (but i use it to grease my pans for non baking items also)

I store it in the fridge during the summer and on the counter during the winter-the heat tends to seperate it and i have to whip it back up if i leave it on the counter during the summer. I have a pastry brush that stays with the container that is specifically for the pan grease icon_wink.gif
