Woah- Back it up! Im confused again! You used a mold to do the cookie dough?
Oh sure! It's easy!! Just take the dough and press it into the mold (I blop it with my poofy first so it doesn't stick) and peel out the dough and bake. Does that make sense?
Thanks! "poofy?"
Oh yes, "Blop it with my poofy" is a common phrase with me, I suppose I should clarify... I have my little cornstarch puff which is actually a combination of cornstarch and confectioners sugar and I "blop" the inside of the mold with it lightly so the dough (or fondant) doesn't stick. I call that little puffy thing my poofy. Hence the term "blop it with my poofy"... (I hope that made sense!)
Okay - that is what I figured but.... you never know. My poofy gets used in the bathtub with shower gel! I might have to make a cake poofy too!
*taking notes* Blop...it...with...poofy... damn these technical terms *scratching head*
hee, hee...........sometimes I feel like I so overuse the and !! that I can't let anyone know when I really am . But melvira............I swear it... I am ! My kids think I am weird laughing at the computer! And they are still little so they not only look at me funny but they come running to see what it is!!
I really should be going to bed but had to giggle at you guys. I love all of the people on CC bobwonderbuns don't worry one day you will catch me saying that thingy majig and whatcha macallit to describe things
Hey, I blop with my poofy plenty, but I keep it between DH and I instead of running on here and bragging about it, thank you very much!!
marthajo... my baby is almost 2, and he always comes running to lean over and 'read' what's making mommy laugh. Thank goodness he doesn't read yet, or I'd be in trouble sometimes. It would leave a lot of 'splaining!
The key to gilding the gloves is to use a very small brush -- 000 or a liner brush because of the intricate detail.
I haven't posted in I-don't-know-how-long. I'm not even sure I remember how to download a picture. Here goes... This is a princess cookie using the ice cream cutter upside-down.

Thank you very much you will always be my number 1 CC buddy.
Here are my entries for the April cookie club theme "royalty."
One entry is obvious. The other tells you that my brain is weird.
I love you cookies and your creativity.... The Roy Al T was really a great example of using the theme to it's fullest and thinking outside the box. Excellent work.
Thanks for the very nice and unexpected comment, Cake Princess.
And another big thanks for starting this club. I really do love the incentive to create somthing that I would not normally take the time to do.
Wow!!! King Tut!! He's really cool!! Did you use a particular cutter for him or cut him out by hand? Is that Royal Icing I see?? Details, we want details!!
Great work,Ursula Never thought about Egyptian royalty--cool idea!!
( Also very cool to be "chatting" with you in Shanghai )
April's theme is officially over please do not upload additional pics to the theme. This way we can all be focused on working on May's current theme.
You may however continue to comment on the pics already uploaded to the April month's theme.
Sorry, i was a little excited about finally having something to contribute. Won't happen again

It's ok, I just don't want to detract from the current theme.
