I just did a cake with the brushed embroidery, it's in my photos. I used the instructions from the Wilton site. It's under basic decorating techniques. I found it very easy with lovely results.

I've used those instructions to with good results. It works for either BC or royal icing. The last photo in pics has the brush embroidery that I did for the first time.
