I want to make up several batches of homemade gumpaste to have on hand for making flowers and other things when I have free time. Does anyone know how long unused gumpaste lasts and the best way to store it? Thanks in advance!

I should last a couple of weeks on the counter, several weeks in the fridge, and it can be frozen for a few months.

It must always be well wrapped (double) and I put it in foil to protect it from light.
