What do you all do with your practice cakes? I'd like to practice more but I don't know what to do with all the cake. I thought about getting styrofoam cakes, but I don't know where to get something like that. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

You can give them to a neighbor or have your neighbors take them to their jobs.
Send the practice cakes to work with friends or school functions.

My friend and I make practice cakes all the time and she gives her cakes to her sister in law or neighbor to take to work.

I take mine to a men's homeless "drop in " center.....they absolutely love them and makes me feel good knowing they're appreciated!

Most of the time I send them to work with my husband, he's a mechanic at a car dealership so the guys are always hungry there. I have a first grader too and live in a state where you can bring homemade stuff in for the kids.

Cake dummies are a great solution. they are not expensive, photograph well, and you can re-use them.

web search cake dummies, or look at sugarcraft, or you favorite cake decorating supply store.

Cover it with clear contact paper and it becomes easily cleanable.

I take them to the retirement homes. Most of the patients in the homes are diabetic or are on strict diets so most of the time the nurses and staff end up eating them but they are always appreciated!
