Can anyone tell me how they attach the different pieces of fondant to stick their whole figurine together? I'm having one HECK of a time. Thanks!
I use any and all of the following:
royal icing (thinned a little)
egg white (beaten slightly) or a bit of meringue powder & water)
a small piece of fondant mixed with some water (just beat it with a fork for a minute)
I am only a beginner, but I have used toothpicks. I also have read that people use floral wire.
I have also used water but recently I purchased a jar of clear piping gel from Sugarcraft and use a small paintbrush to brush it on and it works great too.
Oh, wish I had read this earlier. Just did my first figure. I was going to keep the parts together (feet, hands, head, etc.) using toothpicks but I didn't have any so I used speghetti! It could break though so I'm not sure it's the best choice. LOL

I've always used spagettie noodles in my fondant figures. I don't like the idea of toothpics as a kiddo might get ahold of it.
I also use piping gel to glue parts together.
