Help, Using Fondant For The First Time

I am using fondant for the first time. I am practicng on cupcakes. When I put it on and try to get the sides straight it breaks on the bend. Any suggetions? icon_biggrin.gif

Make sure you are rolling it thick enough. You need to roll it about 1/4" thick or else it tears very easily. Also, if it is a little dry, you need to add glucose or tylose. Good luck!

you can also fix the tear with a little crisco and join it back together..good suggestion rolling it thicker that will help you alot
