A girl I work with has a cat that had kittens, and she let me have one! I just picked her up last night and we gave her to our kids as thier early Christmas present. Here's a picture:

How sweet!!! I have 1 cat right now. We lost one of ours a couple of months ago. Some dogs chased it into a tree and it fell and broke his back. We are all heartbroken and waiting for the day we can get another one. His name was "Snow" - pure white, long hair. Enjoy!!!

Oh she's adorable! I had a kitty that looked just like that when I was little and he was soooo sweet. What are you going to name her?

I love the kitty. Tabbies are my favorite. My last one lived to be 19 and a half. My current one is 6 years old.
Enjoy the new addition to your family!

Awwh, I want that baby, so adorable. We have a bit fat grey tabby who looked like that when he was just a babe. How cute! Bet the kids were thrilled!
gilson6, so sorry about your kitty, that is so sad, poor thing!

gilson6, I am so sorry to hear about your poor baby! I hope things are a little better now.

This is my absolute first kitten, I grew up with a dad that didn't like them, but I always wanted one. As far as names go, my oldest (6) wants to name her Julia, and my 2nd oldest (4) wants to name her Kitty, like Hello Kitty. My youngest, (2) wants to carry her everywhere, which is scary.

SquirrellyCakes, Everytime I see your nick on here it reminds me of the squirrel I have at home... I had (I use the past tense as both are missing; we have coyotes really bad where I live and no cat can survive icon_sad.gif ) that stalked a poor little squirrel that apparently has something wrong with it. I heard a terrible noise and I ran outside to see what the commotion was all about ... the cats had a squirrel between them batting it back and forth and it had been completely terrorized!! Not even thinking, I bent down and picked it up in my gown trying to save it as I knew the cats would kill it... I ran inside the house, grabbed a throw blanket off the back of my sofa and got him out of my gown.. thank God he didn't run up my gown or bite me lol ... he now resides in a cage on my back porch.. the door stays open now that the cats are gone and he's free to leave any time he wants.. however; why should he!! he's fed walnuts, pecans, filberts, brazil nuts, sunflower seeds, etc, etc in abundance!! lol he looks like an obese sumo wrestler .. I have a pic of him somewhere that I'll have to send to you sometime where where he's taking a siesta in his first cage we had him in until he outgrew it icon_biggrin.gif

btw, congrats Calejo on your new addition!! he/she is absolutely adorable!!

How awful. thumbsdown.gif We have a cat named Snow. He is jet black, long hair. He was my son's Christmas presant last year. He also really wanted it to snow outside for Christmas, but since it didn't, he named to cat Snow. So he did get Snow for Christmas. icon_rolleyes.gif

That kitty is too cute...I am sure your family will enjoy having it for a pet.

Cheryl...I used to know a family in Baton Rouge that had a squirrel for a pet...he was really neat. Did your squirrel run away??? I hope he is ok.

lol.. no traci... I leave his door open and he's free to leave but he won't.... there is really something strange or wrong with him ... he's not the normal squirrel... he never tries to bite, will take food out of your hand, plays around outside his cage, gets on the tree but won't go up the tree and runs back into his cage anytime something comes around him... lol he's just become a permanent fixture on my back porch now .. I guess he's moved in and he's not going to move out lol

Awwh, that is so cute! I think he thinks you are his momma. They can get very friendly and tame. I know a few people that do foster care for baby squirrels and they actually have to put them in with older squirrels so that they will know how to behave squirrelly. Sounds like yours just relates well to humans. They will bond with humans, so you must have been very kind to him.
