icon_cry.gif Ive got to do a fairy cake, and it needs to be girlr and pretty but im not sure what colours to use, I was thinking of something along the lines of a fairy on a toad stool,

I know that it s been done but its either that or a log or flower, what else is there. so I was wondering if anyone has got some good ideas for making it look pretty and what colours to us. please help icon_sad.gif

Debbie Brown has a cake in one of her books (sorry I can't remember which one) that the actual cake is a mushroom style house with three fairies "flying" around it. I though it was pretty cute. I see blue-green, pink, and yellow as good fairy colors. I hope this helps and please post a picture when you are done.

There are a ton of examples of that cake on here that I've seen. It's sooo cute.

I'm sorry! Go to the cake decorating forum and under the "memberlist" type in risquebusiness. Her profile will come up and you can look through her pics. She has an amazing fairy theme cake! I believe you can do a search for Fairy cakes but I'm still new to CC and are not sure how to do that. HTH

WOW! Your fairies are amazing. I can't believe you were worried. Would you mind explaining how you made your fairies. Especially, how you got the head to stay on that tiny neck. I hope to be able to create something, even half as good as that some day.

Lilac, powder pink, lime green and kind of a cornflower blue. Those are the colors I think of immediately.

Oh, I'm so sorry. She was so pretty. That is so frustrating when you put so much work into something and it breaks. I'm sure your next one will be just as beautiful.
