i am just sick!!!! last year we started remodeling our house, and converted part of our basement into a kitchen for my business....i was so excited that i got ahead of myself and bought a huge blodget convetion oven off of ebay. this thing is huge!!! it weighs almost 500 pounds...and some how we got it down the basement stairs. then we had to move it again because we had to redo the floor. anyway, my kitchen is almost ready so i called an electrician to do some work on the cord....bad news....i had the room wired for 220 hook up, and this oven is 440....doesnt sound that bad, right? well their is no way that a normal house can have a 440 hook up....most business dont even have that. i've tried to call restaurant supply stores and try to talk to them about taking a trade in...they said they couldnt ever sell a 440 oven. several of them said the same thing.
now, i have to get this monster out of my basement, and buy something else. i'm thinking that i will just get a reg. stove/oven from nebraska furniture store, out of the clearence room.
if any one knows what in the world to do with a 440 oven, let me know.....
thanks for listening....

Put it right back on Ebay. Someone will want it. You may have to relist, but add it to Craigslist.com and Ebay and it will go. Sorry you had to go through that, but the idea of a second kitchen is pretty cool!

I agree, relist it on ebay or find a site that will attract people who may be in need of such an item. Don't stress, just take it as it comes.

?? can you get the electritian to redo the plugs so it fits into your current electric??

I had to convert my 5 rack converton oven and it worked like a charm, just old and huge also!

Keep in mind if you buy an oven at the store - the size of the oven to make sure it will accept large sheet cake pans.
