Marshmallow icing: family recipe
Ingredients
4 eggwhites at room temperature
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. water
1 1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c light corn syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
using a double boiler, whip everything using a hand mixer at the highest speed except for th vanilla and salt. 1 minute before the frosting is done, add the salt, when the frosting is already fluffy, turn off the fire and add vanilla extract.
