Hey ladies (and gentleman),
I just bought a can of aerosol super pearl luster dust (i dont own an airbrush). IT IS GREAT. Just shake well and spray. Looks just like i used an airbrush. !!!
Just thought I would let you all know.
Yes they are great! I have 3. Unfortunately two of them clogged I still have to figure out how to unclog them.
I am about to bust can somebody please tell me where to get this from. Please, please please....
OMG! CoutureCakeCreations...you can't post something about SPRAY LUSTER DUST and expect everyone NOT to ask questions! LOL I think most of us have never heard of it! We are all dying to know!!!

Thanks copa and wareagle.
Totally agree newtodecorating.
I would try a can except the shipping was going to be more than the spray! To much for me
looks like that product would be the equivelant of using the preval sprayer (yes, there have been debates on cc about this whether the compressed air is food safe or not- however it says for this product that this is for decorative use only too,) and mixing your own liquid spray with extract or vodka and luster dust. the only positive i see on this is knowing that the mixture is the right consistency.
the preval can be purchased at home depot, and other hardware stores for around 5 bucks.

...p.s. i am not advocating or arguing against the preval sprayer or the the spray luster. just sharing info.

Thanks melysa. I was asking my hubby about using a sprayer like that and he said it won't work. I'll have to get this and show him it does.

oh, it does. i've used them before. the trick is to get the right consistency as not to clog or cause spatters, or be too thin where it drips. but, yes it works.
there are some people that will adamantly argue against its use on a cake that will be eaten. if you call the company, they will say (probably just to cover themselves) it is not for food use.
however, there are also people who can attest that the same additives that are in a can of compressed air for an airbrush is what is in the preval...or have you ever read the back of a can of wilton color spray?
in my humble opinion, its fine. i eat worse things when *I* eat a twinkie. (well, ok- i dont eat twinkies, haha)
