Birthday cake for a friend at work. Chocolate velvet layer, buttercream icing, RI and fondant flowers. Kind of a joke - when I first started cake classes a few months ago and we were talking about flowers she jokingly said "learn to make chrysthamums" - since all she thought you could do were roses - so she is getting a birthday cake with them on it!
