My first pirate ship cake. Really fun to make!! All buttercream. Used tootsie rolls for posts and fondant for rope drapes.

Thanks for the comments fellow cakers...No I don't use brown sugar because it's too stinky. I use crushed graham crackers or vanilla wafers. To apply I spread clear gel on the board, then I sprinkle and then lightly pat to adhere the "sand"... this way it's less messy ;-D
