I made this cake for my daghters fifth birthday. I didn't have as much time to do it as I'd liked so I made just a quick cake.
It's normal sponge cake bottoms with fresh raspberry mousse, chocolate ganache and lemon curd cream inbetween and then covered in a fifty-fifty blend of sugarpaste and marzipan. Flowers made of modellingpaste and leaves in SP. Letters in gumpaste and then painted golden. I was actually making the stringworks as the guests arrived, hence the sloppy result.
