Single 9" layer in buttercream, for my mom and sister. 1st attempt at a frosting ribbon and beads. Still in my 1st year and my technique needs work, but it's my favorite cake so far
Thanks all for the compliments - it means a lot coming from such a talented group! Wab, I have to admit that they really aren't two-toned; that's just the way the flash hit the flowers. The shade itself came from mixing Aster Mauve and Delphinian (sp?) Blue. Glad you all liked it! :P
