Fiddlesticks: Yes, you have to warm the candy melts completely. I added a little veg oil to make it a little thinner and I put it into a parchment bag and squirted out the "toppings." I sometimes had to push the drips with the tip of the bag to get the effect.

sweetcravings Says... 7 years ago

:) I absolutely love this cake! You did a wonderful job on it, so realistic. How many servings do you get out of it? What size pan for the 'bowl'? Do you carve out the center to make room for the ice cream? Details pretty please.

springlakecake Says... 7 years ago

I would say it would feed about 12. I used a 1 layer small oval (wilton) for the bowl. The balls are the mini ball pan. I had to carve them down a little bit to fit. I did not carve the bowl out.

sweetcravings Says... 7 years ago

Thanks so much for the details of the cake. :)

kirahhh Says... 7 years ago

this is just beautiful! I would love more details or how to's; traechris@sbcglobal.net
