Sister's 30Th Birthday
Made this for my sister's 30th. She's a fan of Hello Kitty. Didn't want to make a large cake since she was only out to visit for a short time with her boyfriend, so there wasn't that many people around to eat it. It's a coconut cake with coconut flavored French buttercream. Outlined a pic of hello kitty with black piping gel, transferred to cake and piped in the details to give it more dimension. Added sugar crystals to the sides of the cake.
