Big Green Dinosaur on Cake Central

My first 3d dinosaur to feed 125! Party will be at the Museum of Natural History!

I am in awe! My 3 yr old son just screamed when he saw this one...and asked if he could have one for his birthday!! Please share how you constructed this masterpiece!! Awesome job!

The body was constructed out of a 16" and 14" round and then sliced in half. Two half 16" in the middle and two half 14" on the outsides. I then cut and shaped. The tail was pieced together from a 9x 13 pan. The neck was rice krispies treats and then dowels were inserted for support. The head was foamcore and a styrofoam ball covered with fondant and then shaped. I made the scales out of fondant. I really didn't follow anything just played around with it!

My 2 boys went totally crazy when they saw it (next time I'll think twice before I show them a cake like this) Oh Please share the instructions.

This looks fantastic :) The face has such character! It would be hard to cut into this one. All that work!! Thankfully we have pictures to remember our art!
