Pink, Red, White Birthday Cake
made this for a friend who just brought her new baby home this week so i made her a birthday cake. nothing elaborate...yellow cake with buttercream and fondant bow, candle, and roses.

This is great! Is the name made out of fondant as well?
the name is made out of 50/50 gumpaste and fondant. then i used a clay gun to make the strands and then formed the letters individually. when the letters were fully dry, i took my cake pan and little pieces of fondant/gumpaste i put all the letters together.i put the little pieces on the back of the letters and then i put the little dots between the letters and added the little dots between the letters. i left it on the side of cake pan to dry because i wanted it to fit the outer rim of the cake.
