This cake was made for a mans 40th birthday. The decorations were made out of fondant, the cactus piped on sides of cake and the horizon was painted with food coloring mixed with vanilla extract!
For the #40, I used cookie cutters, fondant and wire. Once I cut out the numbers, I stuck the wire in the bottom of each so I could stick them in the cake and let dry over night. Once it was dry enough, I painted with food coloring and vanilla exctract!
