This flower box cake was for a very special lady. Open rose, David Austin roses, hydrangeas, gardenias, lilac & peony made up the flowers on this cake.The flowers are all made from flower modelling paste and hand coloured. The box was the cake element. Gluten free choc orange cake, layered with chocolate buttercream and covered in chocolate ganache. The wood grain was produced by painting on dark & milk chocolate with just a touch of dark brown colour for the knots.
