This Cake was totally Out of This World! I was asked to make a cake and cupcakes to coordinate with the invitation and we hit it into outer space. The cake is Chocolate Fudge Cake with MMF. I used the Wilton Football pan to make the cake. The smoke is white cotton candy. It melts after about 20 minutes, especially since it's 103 degrees outside. So I sent some extra cotton candy in a plastic bag with the mom to the party. She put it on just before they cut the cake! The Cupcake toppers are also MMF & Gumpaste. I used a Fish Ice Mold to help sculpt the fondant. The birthday boys and mom were thrilled with how it turned out as was I.
