Saurons Tower was just over 2 feet tall and made from rice krispy treats that were molded (while still warm) around a center dowel for support then iced and covered in fondant after it cooled. Saurons Eye at the top of the tower is made from a full sized cupcake that rested on the center support dowel and one toothpick (to keep it from wiggling when moved). The tower is encircled with cake at the bottom and is frosted in black buttercream icing. The decorations and rocks are made from fondant and gumpaste.
