For a 50th anniversary, the fondant covered tiers with piped icing as a "lace" pattern. The topper is purchased, the monogram is fondant painted gold, as are all the little balls around it. I used old gold luster dust mixed with gold airbrush paint. Worked really well, only one coat, and it dried really shiny.
