I made this cake for a friend's son who was having a birthday party at Gymboree. It was the biggest cake I've ever made: a 3-layer 12x18 cake. The baking took forever and so did the fondant Gymbo, but the rest was easy. To make Gymbo, I printed out a picture of him I found online, then cut it up by color (if that makes sense!). I traced the pieces onto the different colors of fondant, cut them out, and then pieced Gymbo together like a puzzle.
