Cari's Birthday
This cake was done for my niece's 16th Birthday. She chose to celebrate with 2 friends and share a birthday party. Their is a "package" to each girl. The small cake is a 6" round, red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, the packages are chocolate cake, and the base is a 16" round yellow cake. All cakes are covered in FONDX. The small white strip is a copy of what they made up as invitations for the party (they were in charge of all arrangements!)

This is really sweet and an excellent idea! How do you like using the FondX compared to the Satin Ice?
It is a brand of Fondant...this is my first time using the FONDX. I have used the satin ice in the past, and actually found the Fondx easier to use. I purchased it from the Austin Cake Show and I was able to talk to the CalJava rep, who gave me some additional pointers that helped a lot! I wish I'd had more time to make better bows, but I love this cake!
