My friend's daughter, Jenna, wanted a beachy luau cake. She wanted the beach scene, but also wanted a grass skirt to fit in somehow. This is what I came up with. When I took it to my friend this morning, she loved it. The cake is a WASC cake with all buttercream. The accents are 50/50 fondant mix, the water is blue piping gel over buttercream, and the beach is brown sugar.
