This cake was to be made for a birthday party. It was probably on of the most difficult to make. The cake was over 3 feet tall. The bottom structure is covered with rice crispie treats and the top of the trophy are 2 tiers of cake vanilla butter cake with strawberriy and jam filling. The cake was covered in fondant and the image on the front is of the gentleman who won the competition. We decided not to add the side handles of the cake arrived at the venue. Unfortunately it did not arrive in one piece. Trying to divert from a possible acciedent caused it to come crumbling down. This was my first and hopefully last cake disaster. Hope you enjoy the pic.
