I made this cake for the cake walk for my son's fun fair at his school. I was very disappointed when I tried smoothing buttercream on the sides of the cake, as with each spread the bubbles got worse! I guess I whipped it waaaayyy too much! The flowers were made with royal icing, and the rest was buttercream. Idea came from Wilton.
