This was my first attempt at petit fours and I will say they were as hard as everyone says but they are (almost) worth the trouble. :) I was pleased with how they turned out. A new client requested them for a bridal shower and I tenatively agreed - with the understanding that if they weren't up to par, I would do a cake instead. Luckily, they turned out and she was thrilled. They were white cake with buttercream filling and buttercream under the poured fondant/glaze. Delicious!
