This was a practice cake for my son's first birthday cake. Since my best friend happened to be having a surprise party for her father, it worked out that the cake didn't have to go to waste. Instead of the baseball theme, I did his favorite football team and used his name and age. He loved it and made me feel so much more confident about making the one for my son a month later!
