Red & Choc Heart Cake on Cake Central

This is a boston creamed pie cake with a rosso antico flavour, that is two layers with a custard filling. The cake was covered in dark chocolate ganache (much to my swearing off doing ganache on my first attempt years ago). The borders were piped with royal icing and the flowers and monogram was made in gumpaste. The monogram was sprayed gold.
