This is my Murphy's cake - if it could go wrong, it did. Tried a new cake and icing recipe from Cake Bible. Read the cake recipe wrong twice. The icing was a cooked icing, it required unsalted butter which I could not find, even though I knew I had bought it (found it the next day), so the icing's salty. The icing isn't very stiff, so it's hard to pipe decorations with. Took it out of the fridge, and the top of it swiped the temp control, so I had to hastily redo that part. It's for my daughter, so she won't care a bit.
