Chocolate cake iced with chocolate buttercream. Fondant leaves, chocolate fondant monkey, gumpaste sign. The cupcakes are vanilla covered with fondant animal faces. The cake was almost a disaster as the fondant monkey was much heavier than I thought he would be. I should have made him out of rkt and put him on a cake board. Lesson learned! You can see the cake starting to collapse! It made it to the party though.
