D is for dog. Dis for Daisy, my grandchildren's dog. They have 2 pugs and could tell which one this is! I drew templates, cut out the flat shapes and put pieces of fondant wrapped in baggies beneath the cheeks and forehead while it dried. The petals were carefully laid in bowls and were supposed to point up. See the Clown sweating in the previous photo? I tried sticking these fondant pieces into refrigerated buttercream frosting! The petals started breaking off the dog. The clown began to sweat and so did I. My granddaughter loved her cake though.
