First Attempt At MMF

This is my practice cake for Course III. Made w/ MMF, I made the mistake of placing the 8" cake on a 10" board, which made it very difficult to get the MMF to hang right off the sides and made it very difficult to cut correctly on the bottom. So to hide the goofs in the cutting of the excess, i made a MMF braid. I also see that I need to find a way to get the cakes to blend together better. I can't use more frosting -- as it was, it was already coming out the bottom!!!

It looks good to me! What a great job at the braids!

Your cake looks great! The braid was inspired, can't see any problems at all!

To get rid of wonky spots & even things out before final icing: spackling. But this looks good, regardless!
