This is the first carrot cake from scratch I ever made, it was for my sister's birthday. We got the recipe from our sister-in-law's family. Cream cheese frosting with fondant accents for the carrots, leaves and daisies. The sides are covered with chopped walnuts. I am still need some practice with my piping techniques.
