I had a request for an old-school style record player cake for a friend's father's 60th birthday and this is what I was able to come up with. It's iced in buttercream. The record is a cookie that I covered with poured cookie icing, the needle arm is a pretzel rod covered in fondant and the knobs are mini oreos covered in fondant as well. All other accents are fondant.
