My customer requested a mexican themed cake for her parents shared birthday party & so she expected a sheet cake with some mexican themed items on it. I decided to go further & do the buttercream chile out of the medium paisley pan, the fondant sombrero out of the wonder mold pan, and the fondant maracas out of the mini ball pan. I hand painted the maracas to look like a sunset & the other to look like a row of cactus'. She loved it! Thanks to adams2shop for the inspiration on the sombrero! TFL!
