Critique subgroup member: I like the mosaic look! The colors are just beautiful. I would have made the cross a bit taller and maybe used a different script for the names. I adore the mini crosses!! Very well done!

I think you did a great job! Very unique! The 1st thing I notice is the same as everyone else - the bottom portion of the cross should probably have come down as far as the bottom cupcakes. Great choice of colours and the mosaic looks great. Overall great design! A+ in my book!

critique subgroup member: Okay- I think that you should have used maybe a white board or a cream color to flow into the design and colors of your cake. Having said that, I REALLY love your mosaic and the colors you chose. Beautiful design and scheme.

Critique Subgroup member: I agree about the shape, but carving is easier said than done! Love the mosaic and the matching cupcakes are a nice touch. I'd like to see piping on the dark blue crosses to match the others. I like the size of the crosses on the cupcakes.

Critique group member: Very nice! I love the mosiac look! The one change I would make is to have the cake be the same cross shape as the ones on the cup cake because right now it looks like a plus sign.

Critique Subgroup Member: Ditto on the proportions for the cake cross and especially on the board -- sorry, I really do not like aluminum foil here. The crosses on the cupcakes are very nice. The writing in the medallion on the cake should have been smaller. I LOVE the mosaic effect.

Critique subgroup member: Overall this design is really nice. I would have liked the cross a bit longer in the tail, but still lovely it has a Celtic feel to it. Your colors are fab also as is the mosiac. I think the colors on the cc should be smaller. The handwriting still looks like handwriting to me, you might want to pick up a calligraphy book to help with letter shaping. So it has a better punch.

critique member: I really love the mosaics on the large cross...I would have liked to see the bottom half of the cross a little longer. this looks a little like a plus sign. Looks like you could have done a little more planning for the center with the words/names. I really like the additional desinged crosses on the cupcakes...that is a really nice touch! Critique Subgroup Member: I also like the design and lay out. In addition to what has been said, you could have stood the crosses up on the cupcakes to offset the size. Otherwise I really like this cake and I'm sure it was a hit!

Critique Subgroup Member: Over all nice design, I agree it would have been nice if the bottom 1/2 of the cross was a little longer. I think if you had used something other than foil to cover your board, it would have made your cake stand out more. Great colors. My favorite color is blue! :D :D

I too like the crosses on the cupcakes and their design, but I think the icing on the cupcakes should have matched the mosaic pieces as there seems to be too many blues going on. over all, well done!

Critique Subgroup Member. Great mosaic! I agree about the size/proportions of the cross. I wonder if your horizontal bar had been placed as the vertical part, it might have evened out the cross--looks like that is the longer part of the cake. The mosaic pieces are great--colors and layout. I like the details of the cupcake crosses also.
